From the Principal

Dear Parents and Visitors,

The motto of Camden High School is "Commitment to Excellence." The faculty, staff, and students of our school take this commitment seriously in all phases of what we do.

In the spring of 2014 we were recognized as the high school winner of the Palmetto's Finest award.  This honor was the result of persistence and perseverance  by our students, staff and community.

We encourage parents and community to show support to Camden High by attending school programs and extra-curricular events.  The Bulldog Calendar on the home page provides important dates.

With Bulldog Pride,
Daniel H. Matthews
Principal, Camden High School

Student council continues to spread holiday cheer this week.  At the end of today’s announcements we will announce a statement from a holiday movie.  On Thursday we will play another song clip.  Go by the library this week to have chances to win prizes.  Maddison Flowers provided the correct answer of “Deck the Halls” for yesterday’s holiday song.  Maddison should go by the library to pick up her prize.

Today’s word of the day is duplicity which means deceitfulness in speech or conduct, double-dealing.  Today’s sentence of the day was written by SAT Verbal team member,  Ahonesty Robinson who wrote, “Many times I have seen the duplicity and manipulation he’s spoken of.”

The bulletin board across from the Guidance Office has many
important announcements regarding
testing dates and scholarship opportunities.
