From the Principal

Dear Parents and Visitors,

The motto of Camden High School is "Commitment to Excellence." The faculty, staff, and students of our school take this commitment seriously in all phases of what we do.

In the spring of 2014 we were recognized as the high school winner of the Palmetto's Finest award.  This honor was the result of persistence and perseverance  by our students, staff and community.

We encourage parents and community to show support to Camden High by attending school programs and extra-curricular events.  The Bulldog Calendar on the home page provides important dates.

With Bulldog Pride,
Daniel H. Matthews
Principal, Camden High School

Toys for Tots Service Project

The mission of the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in our community.

The Camden High Spirit Club is leading our school’s Toys for Tots project.
Our goal is to fill two very large cardboard boxes with new, unwrapped toys.
Toys should be brought to the library by Wednesday, December 3rd.

National Honor Society Fundraising Event

The Robert J. Sheheen chapter of National Honor Society at Camden High School is sponsoring a Volleyball Tournament and Spaghetti Supper on Friday, December 5th at 6:00. Tickets to attend are $3.00 in advance or $5.00 at the door. Tickets may be purchased from any NHS officer, Mrs. Rundlett, or in the Library Media Center.

In addition to the tournament, there will also be a spaghetti supper. Tickets for the supper may be purchased from any NHS member or Mrs. Rundlett. The cost is $7 per adult and $5 per child. NHS will also deliver spaghetti dinners to local businesses prior to 5:00 on December 5th

Funds raised from this event will be donated to the “Rob’s Best Friend Fund” at Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services (PAALS). This fund helps train service dogs for soldiers and veterans.

Bulldog Bulletins

Attention Students and Teachers:  If you have any pictures from past school break days please share them with the yearbook staff. They can be from spring break, summer break, Thanksgiving break, Christmas break, Labor Day or even Election Day!

The Spirit Club, Student Council and Dance Team are leading our school’s collection for Toys for Tots.  Students and staff who would like to contribute a new toy should bring it to the library for the collection box by Wednesday, December 3rd.   Names of students and staff who contribute to Toys for Tots will be displayed on the board outside the library.

The boys soccer team is selling Subway Cards. The card costs $10 and gives a free 6 inch sub with the purchase of a sandwich and two drinks. It’s a great value and a good way to support boys soccer. See Coach Chickering or any soccer player to get your Subway Card today!

You can send photos using the Replay It  link located on the CHS homepage, or email them to chs2015book@gmail.com.

Copies of the winter sports schedules may be picked up in the library.

The bulletin board across from the Guidance Office has many
