MAKE A SPLASH AND READ THIS SUMMER!

Camden High is participating in the No Book Left Unread program to supplement the school district's summer reading assignment.  We invite all students and staff to join this state-wide literacy effort to prove the importance of summer reading.  Students and Staff who read at least 48 hours this summer will be invited to a Reading Reception in September.  Rewards will be given to three students and three staff members who read the highest number of minutes.

Schools from all over South Carolina will be keeping track of how many minutes are read this summer.  Last summer with more than 300 schools participating, 31,954,924 pages were read.

Make copies of this reading log to record all the minutes read this summer.  The readings may be from books, magazines, newspapers, online readings (blogs, wikis, etc.).
Please consider choosing from the South Carolina Young Adult Book Award Nominees, 2010-2011 or the South Carolina Reads 2010 list for NBLU.
